Paula J. Bruening comes to Sequel from Intel Corporation, where she served as Director of Global Privacy Policy. There she developed and coordinated privacy policy across the company and represented the company in Brussels and at international forums. Prior to her tenure at Intel, she was Vice President for Global Policy at the Centre for Information Policy Leadership, where she developed consensus-driven approaches to accountability that are now reflected in law and international privacy guidance.

Ms. Bruening brings to her work extensive experience in government, advocacy and international organizations, including APEC and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. Her work has been published in academic and policy journals and she has spoken on privacy issues in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Ms. Bruening holds a B.A. from John Carroll University and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
